We were lucky enough that the Amtrak Disney Christmas Carol Train stopped in Spokane. Silly me I thought it would be a real quick trip but it took the whole day! And both my girls were rock stars. No Whining in Line (1 hour 45 min wait) Stayed with me while we toured the train (45 min) and then waited another ten minutes to see a preview of the movie that scared Samantha and as I am writing that I now realize that was what her nightmare was about this morning! (BAD MOM!)

Ashland Oregon on the way home. When I was a little girl we used to play in the park when we came to the Shakespear festival. Samantha was rather funny and did not want to walk in the middle where the moss was.
