what's up with that?

Okay so the above picture is Samantha reading to her daddy on Memorial day (this last Monday) I had to put in a picture on this blog because yesterday my computer went crazy and I wasn't able to put an explanation on that blog. Any who yesterday's picture was of my green baby during and after finger painting for the first time. Besides that new baby stats! Samantha now weighs twenty four pounds and is thirty one and a half inches tall. She is in the fiftieth percentile! I am so proud of her (she is no longer in the twenty fifth!) Things have been going well with all of us although we went to our first story time this last Friday and Samantha brought home a cold! Lucky us!

My baby is growing up

She has a Charlie Chaplin blue moustache from chalk! I don't know if she had been trying to eat it...I do know she was trying to smell it!

Yup I am having one of those moments. Samantha is growing up. I was trying to get stuff done this morning and all of a sudden it is quiet in her room and what do I find her doing? Sitting on top of her changing table and putting her pants on!!!!! First off...she climbed up onto her chaning table....second SHE WAS PUTTING ON HER PANTS!!! Before I know it she is going to be driving a car. I can't believe that I have to put her on a waiting list for preschool and that if she is potty trained a year from this September she can go! Where has all the time gone? Oh ya I wasted some of it working!

Yup thats a screw driver

Okay so some of you are probably wondering why the child has a screw driver in her hand. I am more wondering how come she knows what to do with the screw driver! Yup she had it in there and was attempting to turn screws! Of course this was a flat head screw driver and the screw heads were phillips. But if it is all the same she had the concept! Whats up with that? Who's child is she?

I am not sure why munchkin likes to wear her rain boots but I thought she looked a bit like a go go dancer in this outfit! (Um is the skirt to short!?)

A Visit with Uncle Gabe

Samantha had a blast with her Uncle Gabe when he came to visit last weekend. They had a lot of fun messing around the park. It is nice to have a "big kid" to play at the park with everyonce in a while. I also enjoy it because typically when we go to the park it is Samantha, Rocky the Dog, and me. That is a handful for climbing all over the play structure because of course Rocky has to be in the thick of it.

Yup thats my kid. Wearing a dress with pants...rainboots a rain coat no hood in the pooring rain splashing in puddles. She had a nice bubble bath after this!
